Consideration to award contract FY24-059 to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder M & V Heavy Equipment Services, Laredo, TX as the primary vendor in the amount not to exceed $382,700.00 for the purchase and hauling services of approximately 86,000 tons of earthen soils for Solid Waste Department project. In case the primary vendor is not able to deliver dirt and/or provide services based on the specific timeline determined by Landfill, which may affect daily operations, the department will call and select the secondary vendor, Double D Trucking, Laredo, TX, to supply dirt and service to continue fully operating. The term of this contract shall be for a period of the Landfill Project until its completion. Funding is available in the Solid Waste Fund 2022 Certificate of Obligation Bond.
