A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas, authorizing the City Manager to submit a grant application in the estimated amount of $115,000.00 to the Office of The Governor, Homeland Security Grant Division for the purpose of funding the State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) - Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention Activities (LETPA) Grant. This funding will be utilized to purchase one fully equipped specialized vehicle for the Laredo Police Department Bomb Squad Unit. No local match is required. Funding will be accounted for in the Special Police Fund.
