A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas, authorizing the City Manager to submit a grant application in the estimated amount of $2,800,000.00 to the Office of the Governor, Homeland Security Grants Division for the purpose of funding the FY2027 Operation Lone Star (OLS) Grant Program. This grant will provide funding for equipment and supplies to enhance efforts aimed at reducing border-related criminal activity in Texas. No local match is required. Funding will be accounted for in the Special Police Fund.
