A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas authorizing the City Manager to submit a grant application in the estimated amount of $40,000.00 to the Office of the Governor, Public Safety Office, Criminal Justice Division for the FY2027 Violence Against Women Justice and Training Program Grant for the period of October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027. This grant will provide funding for Crimes Against Women training intended for Laredo Police Department personnel. The 30% required match for the City of Laredo is approximately $12,000.00 from General Fund. Funding will be available in the Special Police Fund.
