A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas, authorizing the City Manager to submit a grant application in the estimated amount of $80,000.00 to the Office of the Governor, Public Safety Office, Criminal Justice Division for the FY2027 General Victim Assistance Program Grant under the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) for the period of October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027. This grant will fund training, supplies, and contractual services affiliated with the grant program. The 20% required match for the City of Laredo is approximately $16,000.00, from General Fund. Funding will be available in the Special Police Fund.
