A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas authorizing the City Manager to submit a grant application in the amount not to exceed $250,000.00, to the State of Texas, Office of the Governor for the FY 2027 Border Zone Fire Departments Grant Program to fund the acquisition of new hazardous materials and rescue equipment in order to improve the department’s response time to distress calls. The BZFD grant has a no-match requirement at the time of application. Funding is available in the Special Fire Grants Fund.
