Authorizing the City Manager to submit a grant application in the estimated amount of $3,250,000.00 to the office of the Governor’s Public Safety Office for the purpose of funding the FY 2027 Texas Anti-Gang (TAG) program. Funding will be used to pay for costs associated with the operation of the TAG Center, including but not limited to, personnel, rent, contractual obligations, information system interfaces, equipment, training, supplies and direct operating expenses. This grant does not require matching funds. Funding is available in the Special Police Fund.
