AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT THE AMERICAN CONVERSATION PROJECT GRANT, IN THE ESTIMATED TOTAL AMOUNT OF $500.00 PER SIX (6) MONTH TERM, FROM JUNE 19, 2026, THROUGH NOVEMBER 30, 2026, WITH NO MATCH FOR THE CITY OF LAREDO PUBLIC LIBRARY DEPARTMENT; AND TO AMEND THE GENERAL FUND BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING REVENUES AND EXPENDITURES IN THE AMOUNT OF $500.00; AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS RESULTING FROM THE AWARD OF THIS GRANT. ANY FUNDING AS A RESULT OF THIS APPLICATION WILL BE APPROPRIATED IN THE LAREDO PUBLIC LIBRARY DEPARTMENT - GENERAL FUND.
