A resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas authorizing the City Manager to submit a grant application in the estimated amount of $85,600.00 to the Office of the Governor, Public Safety Office, Criminal Justice Division for the funding of FY 2026 Rifle-Resistant Body Armor Grant Program for the period of September 01, 2025 through August 31, 2026. The purpose of this grant program is to provide law enforcement agencies with funding to equip peace officers with rifle-resistant vests. This grant does not require matching funds. Grant will be accounted for the Special Police Fund.
