A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas, authorizing the City Manager to ratify the acceptance of a grant in the amount of $58,451.25 from the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division, for the funding of the FY2026 Body-Worn Camera Grant Program. The grant performance period is from October 1st, 2025 through September 30th, 2026. This grant program is to aid municipal police departments in establishing or enhancing body-worn camera (BWC) programs. The City of Laredo will be responsible for the required match of $19,483.75, from General Fund, for a total project amount of $77,935.00. Funding is available in the Special Police Fund.
