A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas, authorizing the City Manager to ratify the acceptance of a grant in the amount of $597,254.85 from the Office of the Governor’s Homeland Security Grants Division to fund the 2026 Operation Lone Star (OLS) Grant Program. Funding will be used to pay for overtime and purchase equipment in an effort to reduce border-related criminal activity in Texas. This grant does not require matching funds. Grant is accounted for in the Special Police Fund.
