A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas, authorizing the City Manager to ratify the submission of a grant application in the estimated amount of $27,803.85 to the Office of the Governor, Public Safety Office, Criminal Justice Division for the FY2026 First Responder Mental Health Grant, Peer Support Program. The grant performance period will be October 01, 2025 through September 30, 2026. The Laredo Police Department will utilize this funding to obtain a professional service contract for Clinical Advisory for Trauma and Work-Related Counseling, training, and outreach supplies for the sustainment of the LPD Peer Support Program. The 20% required match for the City of Laredo is approximately $5,560.77 from General Fund. Grant funding will be available in the Special Police Fund.
