A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas, authorizing the City Manager to ratify the acceptance of a grant in the amount of $204,000.00 from the Office of the Governor, Homeland Security Grants Division for the purpose of funding the FY2025 Local Border Security Program (LBSP) Grant for the period of September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2025. This grant will provide funding to pay for overtime to increase patrol security along the Texas-Mexico Border. No local match is required. Grant is accounted for in the Special Police Fund.
