A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas, authorizing the City Manager to accept a grant in the amount of $85,739.41 from the Office of The Governor, Homeland Security Grant Division for the purpose of funding the State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) - Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention Activities (LETPA) Grant. This funding will be utilized to purchase two (2) MED-ENG EOD 10E bomb suits for the Laredo Police Department Bomb Squad Unit. No local match is required. Funding is available in the Special Police Fund.
