Authorizing the City Manager to submit a grant application to the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Clean Heavy-Duty Vehicles Grant Program in the amount of $2,000,000.00, with $2,000,000.00 in match for the City of Laredo Solid Waste Department, for a total amount of $4,000,000.00. If funded, grant monies would be used for the purchase of approximately four electric refuse trucks and charging stations. Grant will be accounted for in the Solid Waste Fund.
