Authorizing the City Manager to submit a grant application in the estimated amount of $500,000.00 to the Office of the Governor, Homeland Security Grants Division for the purpose of funding the FY2025 Local Border Security Program (LBSP) Grant for the period of September 01, 2024 through August 31, 2025. This grant will provide funding to pay for overtime to increase patrol security along the Texas-Mexico Border. No local match is required. Grant will be accounted for in the Special Police Fund.
