Authorizing the City Manager to submit a grant application in the estimated amount of $31,000.00 to the Office of the Governor, Public Safety Office, Criminal Justice Division for the FY2025 Violence Against Women Justice and Training Program Grant for the period of October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025. This grant will provide funding for Crimes Against Women training intended for Laredo Police Department personnel. The 20% required match for the City of Laredo is approximately $9,000.00. Grant funding will be accounted for in the Special Police Fund.
