Authorizing the City Manager to submit a grant application in the estimated amount of $77,935.00 to the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division for the funding of FY 2025 Body-Worn Camera Grant Program for the period of September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2025. The purpose of this program is to aid municipal police departments in establishing or enhancing body-worn camera (BWC) programs. The 25% required match is approximately $19,500.00. The grant will be accounted for in the Special Police Fund.
