Authorizing the City Manager to submit a grant application in the estimated amount of $40,000.00 to the Office of the Governor, Public Safety Office, Criminal Justice Division for the FY2025 General Victim Assistance Program Grant under the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) for the period of October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025. This grant will fund training and supplies affiliated with the grant program. The 20% required match for the City of Laredo is approximately $8,000.00. Grant funding will be accounted for in the Special Police Fund.
