Concerning a voluntary annexation application by Steve LaMantia on behalf of Needmore Ranch II, LTD., altering and extending the boundary limits of the City of Laredo, annexing additional territory of 8.15 acres, more or less, located north of State Highway 255 and West of FM 1472. Providing for the effective date of the ordinance, authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract adopting a service plan for the annexed territory, and establishing the initial zoning of M-1 (Light Manufacturing District). The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the annexation and initial zoning. Staff supports the application and initial zoning. AN-011-2023 District VII - Cm. Vanessa Perez
