Public Hearing and Introductory Ordinance authorizing the City Manager to accept and execute a grant for the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Program - Bipartisan Infrastructure Law 2021 to the United States Department of Energy (DOE) in the amount of $271,290.00, with no matching funds and amending the City of Laredo’s FY 2024 annual budget for the Environmental Services Fund by appropriating revenues and expenditures in the amount of $271,290.00. Funds will be utilized for upgrading the decorative street lighting and solar trash compactors in downtown. Funding is available under Environmental Services Fund.
