8. Discuss and consider a report from the Finance Director regarding the progress of the annual audit and the duties and responsibilities of the Finance Department and its employees. (Councilwoman Kelcey Short)
9. Consult with legal counsel, pursuant to Section 551.074, Government Code, for advice to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee – City Manager.
10. Discuss and consider an update from the Special Events/Downtown Coordinator regarding the status and progress of grant applications and awards, as well as current economic development activities and projects. (Councilwoman Kelcey Short)
11. Discuss and consider a report from the City Secretary regarding the training and development of the Deputy City Secretary to assist with the duties, operations, and responsibilities of the City Secretary’s Office. (Councilwoman Kelcey Short)
