- pursuant to the Texas Government Code, Section 551.072, Real Property, and 551.071, Consultation with City Attorney; for the purpose of deliberations regarding the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property generally located along Bear Creek Road, between S Hampton Road and IH-35E, for the East Bear Creek Road Expansion Project.

Demonstrations, shouting, or other disruptive conduct is prohibited.• Maintain respectful behavior at all times. Personal attacks, threatening behavior, or conduct that disrupts the orderly transaction of business will not be permitted.</div><br>The Mayor or Presiding Officer is responsible for preserving order and may take appropriate action, including issuing a warning, directing an individual to cease disruptive behavior, requesting removal from the meeting, or recessing the meeting when necessary to ensure compliance with applicable law and the City's rules of procedure.
- Proclamation Recognizing the Incorporation of the City of Glenn Heights, September 16, 2026
- Discussion and take action to approve Resolution R-33-26, a Resolution determining the necessity of acquiring real property for the construction of the East Bear Creek Road Expansion Project, authorizing appropriation of the real property and/or the use of the power of eminent domain to acquire the real property for public use, delegating authority to initiate condemnation proceedings to the City Attorney and City Manager. - Discussion, Public Hearing to receive testimony, and take action to approve Ordinance O-15-26, regarding proposed amendments to the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance and the Official Zoning Map of the City of Glenn Heights; and discuss and take possible action to approve, deny, or modify the proposed amendments, including adoption of any ordinance necessary to implement such changes. - Discussion and take possible action on Ordinance O-16-26, regarding the repeal, amendment, or retention of Ordinance No. O-13-17 regulating donation collection drop boxes within the City of Glenn Heights, and authorization of any related ordinance amendments deemed necessary by the City Council. - Discussion and take action authorizing the Mayor to cast the City of Glenn Heights' ballot for the 2026 Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Pool Board of Trustees Election for Places 1 through 4, and to execute all documents necessary to submit the ballot on behalf of the City. - Discussion and take action to approve Ordinance O-11-26, adopting and levying ad valorem taxes for the year 2026 (Fiscal Year 2026-2027) at a rate of $0.590821 per one hundred dollars ($100) assessed valuation on all taxable property within the corporate limits of the City of Glenn Heights, Texas. - Discussion, Public Hearing to receive testimony, and take action to approve Ordinance O-14-26, regarding amendments to Chapter 5:5 (Land Use and Density) and Chapter 5:7 (Future Land Use Plan Map) of the City of Glenn Heights 2024 Comprehensive Plan; and discuss and take possible action to approve, deny, or modify the proposed amendments.
