Discussion and action on a Resolution authorizing the City Manager, or designee, to effectuate the purchase and closing of the property commonly known as Tract 14B, out of section 14, Block 81, Township 2, TEXAS AND Pacific RAILROAD SURVEYS and legally described as Tract 14B, out of section 14, Block 81, Township 2, TEXAS AND Pacific RAILROAD SURVEYS, by the City of El Paso, including any and all improvements located on the property for $3,000,000. Further, the City Manager or designee is authorized to: (1) execute a Contract of Sale with Palo Verde Properties, L.P., the seller of the property; (2) sign any and all documents related and/or necessary to effectuate the purchase and closing of the property; (3) exercise all rights and obligations as provided in the Contract of Sale; (4) sign any documents necessary to effectuate any rights or obligations in relation to the purchase and closing of the property; (5) sign any contract amendments provided that such amendments do not increase the purchase price; and (6) effectuate any budget transfers necessary to effectuate the purchase of the property.
