Award Summary: Discussion and action that the Managing Director of Purchasing & Strategic Sourcing be authorized to issue Purchase Order(s) for Solicitation 2025-0007 Veterinary Lab Testing to Idexx Distribution, Inc., the sole source provider and to maintain standardization for Companion Animal Products laboratory testing supplies, for an initial term of three (3) years for an estimated amount of $1,200,000.00. Supplier will be required to provide an updated sole source letter and affidavit each year. This contract will allow the Animal Services Department to conduct in-house medical laboratory testing. Contract Variance: The difference based in comparison to the previous contract is as follows: A decrease of $300,000.00 which represents a 20.00% decrease due to previous contract included additional services besides laboratory testing.
