Award Summary: The award of Solicitation 2024-0520 Armored Car Services to Trans America Protection Corporation, for an initial term of three (3) years for an estimated amount of $136,773.15. The award includes a two (2) year option for an estimated amount of $91,182.10. The total value of the contract for five (5) years, including the initial term and the option is a total estimated amount of $227,955.25. This contract will provide armored car services for the Parks & Recreation Department and the Police Department to transport cash between facilities, designated exchange locations and the bank. Contract Variance: The difference based in comparison to the previous contract is as follows: An increase of $19,746, for the initial term, which represents a 16.87% increase due to the changes on the frequency, schedule of pickups, and the addition of new locations. It is requested that the City Manager be authorized to establish the funding sources and make any necessary budget transfers and execute any and all documents necessary for execution of this award.
