A Resolution that the attached “Safe Routes to School Action Plan” be adopted as the City of El Paso’s official plan for school zone safety. That the City Manager be authorized to implement the “Safe Routes to School Action Plan” in a manner generally consistent with the recommended strategies and policies contained in the Plan and the recommended implementation matrix. That the adoption of the “Safe Routes to School Action Plan” shall not commit the City of El Paso to specific funding levels or implementation strategies but shall provide guidance for the City’s vision for school zone safety.
