  2. Receive a report, hold a discussion, and take action on Change Order No. 1 on 24113, Generators Phase 2 — City Hall and Rylant Raw Water Pump station with GDC (Contract No. 2025-0001-CO), in the amount of $136,025.09 and authorize the Interim City Manager to execute all related documents.
  3. Discuss the possible purchase, exchange, lease or sale value of real property (public discussion of such would not be in the best interests of the City’s bargaining position). Section 551.072.
  4. Receive a report, hold a discussion, conduct a Public Hearing and take action on an ordinance approving the assessment roll as certified by the Board of Review of the Grayson Appraisal District in the amount of $2,840,384,293; levying the ad valorem taxes of the City of Denison, Texas on all property, both personal and real, in the City of Denison for the year 2026 in the amount of $0.712034 for each one hundred dollars of assessed valuation, and providing for the apportionment of such ad valorem taxes.
  5. Receive a report, hold a discussion, and take action on an ordinance amending Chapter 24 -Taxation, Article III. Hotel Occupancy Tax of the City of Denison Code of Ordinances.
  6. Discuss the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment of duties, discipline, or dismissal of or to hear a complaint against a public officer or employee. Section 551.074.
  7. Discuss the deployment or specific occasions for implementation of security personnel or devices. Section 551.076.
  8. Receive a report, hold a discussion, and take action on the appointment of Kim Bass and reappointment of Mark Mckinney to the Cemetery Advisory Board, serving a two-year term effective October 1, 2026.
  9. Receive a report, hold a discussion, and take action on the appointment of Francisco Carranza to the Parks and Recreation Commission for the remainder of a two-year term effective upon City Council approval and expiring on April 30, 2028.
  10. Receive a report, hold a discussion and take action on the appointment of James Peterson as a new regular member to the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals to serve the remainder of an unexpired term, effective upon appointment and expiring on December 31, 2027.
  11. Receive a report, hold a discussion, conduct a Public Hearing and take action on an ordinance adopting the City of Denison budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2026, and ending on September 30, 2027; and appropriating the funds for the various funds and purposes of such budget.
