3. Receive a report, hold a discussion, and take action on approving the Citywide Historic Resources Survey Consultant Services Agreement with Preservation Texas (Contract No. 2026-0114) in an amount not to exceed $40,000.00, and authorize the City Manager to execute the same.
4. Receive a report, hold a discussion, and take action on the purchase of three new solid waste trucks in the amount of $1,026,650.00 from Mack/Volvo Trucks of Waco and authorize the City Manager to execute any associated documents.
5. Confer with City Attorney regarding inspection of recreational facility.
6. Discuss the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment of duties, discipline, or dismissal of or to hear a complaint against a public officer or employee. Section 551.074.
7. Discuss the deployment or specific occasions for implementation of security personnel or devices. Section 551.076.
8. Receive a report, hold a discussion, conduct a public hearing, and take action on an Ordinance for a Voluntary Annexation of an approximate 5.994-acre tract of land legally described as being a part of the Jesse Butler Survey, Abstract No. 117, Grayson County, Texas, and generally known as 7900 Preston Road, Denison, Texas. Property Owner: City of Denison, Texas. (Case No. 2026-73A).
9. Receive a report, hold a discussion and take action on the reappointment of Charles Pool to serve a three-year term, effective October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2029, to the Business and Industrial Corporation of Denison, Inc., d/b/a Denison Development Alliance, Board of Directors, and the appointment of Charles Pool to serve as Chair for a one-year term, effective October 1, 2026, through October 1, 2027.
10. Receive a report, hold a discussion, and take action on a resolution adopting the Investment Policy for Funds for the City of Denison for fiscal year 2027.
11. Consult with attorney on a matter in which the attorney's duty to the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct conflicts with this chapter and/or consult with attorney about pending or contemplated litigation or contemplated settlement of the same. 15. Receive a report, hold a discussion, conduct a public hearing, and take action on an Ordinance rezoning approximately ± .17 acre tract of land legally described as being situated in the Sexton Addition, Lot 1, Grayson County, Texas, plat record in Volume 16, Page 193, commonly known as 2016 W. Bond Street, from the SF-7.5, Single Family Residential District to the SF-5, Single Family Residential District. (Case No. 2026-74Z).
