Authorize the (1) acceptance of a grant from the Texas Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division (Grant No. 4922902), in the amount of $10,000,000.00 for the construction and implementation of a new Dallas Police Department Law Enforcement Training Center at the University of North Texas at Dallas campus, located at 1200 East Camp Wisdom Road for the period September 1, 2026 through May 31, 2029; (2) establishment of appropriations in an amount not to exceed $10,000,000.00 in the LE-Regional Law Enforcement Facility Fund; (3) receipt and deposit of grant funds from the Texas Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division in an amount not to exceed $10,000,000.00 in the LE-Regional Law Enforcement Facility Fund; and (4) execution of the grant agreement with the Texas Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division and all terms, conditions, and documents required by the agreement - Not to exceed $10,000,000.00 - Financing: LE-Regional Law Enforcement Facility Fund.
