Authorize the (1) application for and acceptance of a grant from the Texas Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division (CJD) for the Peace Officer Mental Health Program (Grant No. 5411202, Award ID No. 2027-PO-ST-0000) in the amount of $80,992.36 to support the mental health and overall well-being of sworn officers through a comprehensive, trauma informed approach for the period October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027; (2) establishment of appropriations in an amount not to exceed $80,992.36 in the CJD Peace Officer Mental Health Program Grant Fund; (3) receipt and deposit of grant funds in an amount not to exceed $80,992.36 in the CJD Peace Officer Mental Health Program Grant Fund; and (4) execution of the grant agreement with the CJD and all terms, conditions, and documents required by the agreement - Not to exceed $80,992.36 - Financing: CJD Peace Officer Mental Health Program Grant Fund
