An ordinance amending Chapter 2, “Administration,” of the Dallas City Code by amending Sections 2-43, 2-44, 2-139.1, 2-139.2, and 2-142; (1) changing the name of Department of Facilities and Real Estate Management to Department of Facilities Management; (2) creating the Office of Real Estate; (3) transferring real estate duties from the Department of Facilities and Real Estate Management to the Office of Real Estate; (4) making the Office of Housing and Community Empowerment a division of the City Manager’s Office; (5) providing a penalty not to exceed $500; (6) providing a saving clause; (7) providing a severability clause; (8) and providing an effective date - Financing: No cost consideration to the City
