An ordinance amending Chapter 6A, “Amusement Centers,” of the Dallas City Code by reserving the chapter; amending Chapter 7, “Animals,” by amending Section 7-7.3; amending Chapter 12B, “Convenience Stores,” by amending Section 12B-21; amending Chapter 32, “Parks and Water Reservoirs,” by amending Section 32-74; and amending Chapter 50, “Consumer Affairs,” by amending Section 50-135; (1) repealing the requirement for an amusement center to obtain a license from the city; (2) the prohibition on coin-operated amusement devices in convenience stores; (3) the prohibition on keeping roosters; (4) providing that property left unattended at Lake Ray Hubbard for a period greater than 48 hours is considered litter; (5) providing that electrical, plumbing, and mechanical contractors are not required to obtain a home repair license if they are licensed by the state of Texas and have provided any notice or registration required by the Texas Occupations Code and Chapter 52 of the Dallas City Code to the building official; (6) providing a penalty not to exceed $500.00; (7) providing a saving clause; (8) providing a severability clause; and (9) providing an effective date - Financing: No cost consideration to the City (see Fiscal Information)
