CONSIDER PURCHASE - VMWARE LICENSE RENEWAL This item considers the renewal of virtualization licensing to support the computer environment at the Airport. Virtualization is a software technology that enables multiple computer systems to run on a single physical platform. The benefits of utilizing this type of technology are cost efficiency, flexibility, scalability, improved utilization, simplified recovery, and security. CONSIDER AWARD - RENEWAL OF REDI MIX CONCRETE ANNUAL CONTRACT This item considers the first of three possible renewals of a contract for the purchase of Redi Mix Concrete used by the Streets, Traffic, Water Distribution, Drainage Utility, and Parks and Recreation Departments. This material is used on a daily basis (weather permitting) for a variety of projects and is purchased on an annual contract.
