  1. Consideration of Resolution No. 02-24-26-1. This item is the second and final reading to consider a resolution to amend the Amarillo Hospital District (the District) 2024/2025 Budget. This budget amendment is recommended for approval by the Amarillo Hospital District Board of Managers. The amendment is being made to cover additional intergovernmental transfers (IGT) to the State in support of the local hospitals. This additional budget amount of $6,500,000 is fully funded by participation from the local hospitals through the Local Providers Participation Fund (LPPF) and the expenditures did not come from any funding from the District. This amendment will align the IGT payments budget to actual for the 2024/2025 year.
  2. <strong>Consider Approval - Change Order No. 1 to the Civic Center Restroom Renovation Project. </strong> This item considers the award of a change order for the Civic Center Restroom Renovation for additional structural support required to remove and replace a portion of the concrete slab located in the West Concourse of the Civic Center Coliseum.   3. <strong>Public Hearing and Consideration of Ordinance No. 8238</strong><br>This item is a public hearing and first reading of an ordinance considering a street name change request made by an adjoining property owner to change the name of Premiere Drive to Inspire Way. Premiere Drive is located on the west boundary of Starplex Cinema 16 Units 1 and 2, both additions to the City of Amarillo, in Section 32, Block 9, B.S.& F. Survey, Randall County, Texas.   4. Public Hearing and Consideration of Ordinance No. 8239. This item is a public hearing and first reading of an ordinance considering the rezoning of all of Lot 3, Block 1, Ben’s Subdivision Unit No. 23, all of Lot 4B, Block 1, Ben’s Subdivision Unit No. 35, and the western most 495 feet of the remaining portion of Lot 1, Block 1, Ben’s Subdivision Unit No. 3 Replat, all additions to the City of Amarillo, in Section 5, Block 9, B.S.& F. Survey, Randall County, Texas, plus one-half of all bounding streets, alleys, and public ways, to change from General Retail District and Heavy Commercial District to Light Commercial District.   5. <strong>Consider Award - Zoo Lease Agreement. </strong> This item considers the award of a lease agreement for operations and maintenance for a portion of Thompson Park (known as the Amarillo Zoo) with a lease option for future expansions finding that the award of the same promotes a public purpose. The original lease term is twenty years, with three five-year options to renew.
