- 2 Pursuant to Section 8 44 112 of the Tennessee Code Annotated, time is reserved for public comment on legislative items appearing on this agenda or related to the committee. Members of the public wishing to speak may sign up on the Council Committee signup sheet posted outside the room where the committee is scheduled to meet. Public Comment sign up for Council Committee meetings will end immediately before the meeting begins. Public Comment is limited to eight minutes total at Council Committee meetings and each speaker is allowed up to two minutes to speak. - 1. A resolution accepting the terms of a cooperative purchasing master agreement with Motorola Solutions, Inc. for public safety software for the Metropolitan Nashville Department of Emergency Communications.
- 2. A resolution appropriating a total of $43,192.28 from the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Office of the Mayor, to Fisk University and approving a grant contract by and between the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Office of the Mayor, and Fisk University for the provision of youth participatory action research.
- 3. A resolution accepting a Tennessee Highway Safety Office Recovery Court Enhancements grant from the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the State Trial Courts, to fund various Alcohol Countermeasures Highway Safety Projects.
- 4. A resolution appropriating a total of $50,000 from the Juvenile Court of Nashville and Davidson County to Rocklife Youth as a recipient of a Community Partnership Fund grant.
- 5. A resolution appropriating a total of $20,000 from the Juvenile Court of Nashville and Davidson County to TN Voices as a recipient of a Community Partnership Fund grant.
- 6. A resolution appropriating a total of $40,000 from the Juvenile Court of Nashville and Davidson County to EPIC Girl as a recipient of a Community Partnership Fund grant.

- 10. A resolution approving a sole source contract between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and American Red Cross for the provision of licensed training services.
- 11. A resolution accepting the terms of a cooperative purchasing master agreement with Lion First Responder PPE, Inc. for firefighter personal protective equipment for the Nashville Fire Department.
- 12. A resolution accepting a Continuum of Care Program grant from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Office of Homeless Services, to promote a community-wide commitment to the goal of ending homelessness by promoting access to and effect utilization of mainstream programs by homeless individuals and families.

A resolution accepting a Continuum of Care Homeless Management Information System grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Office of Homeless Services, to pay the software system vendor, purchase additional user licenses when needed, and continue integrating data from the Nashville Rescue Mission.

An ordinance directing the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department and the Mayor’s Office, through the Office of Youth Safety, and requesting the coordination of Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools, to jointly develop an education and information-sharing initiative aimed at identifying and countering the growing threat of online extremist content that targets and exploits young people in Nashville and Davidson County.
