- First and Final Reading of Resolution Number 15-2026<br>A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN GREENVILLE COUNTY AND THE MUNICIPALITY OF GREER TO OBTAIN URBAN COUNTY STATUS WITH THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND APPOINT THE GREENVILLE COUNTY REDEVLOPMENT AUTHORITY (GCRA) AS ITS AGENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF ADMINISTERING ANY GRANT FUNDS RECEIVED AS A RESULT OF THE AGREEMENT. - Award Recommendation - Project #2027-001 McElrath Road ImprovementsThe City of Greer Engineering Department solicited sealed bids from qualified offerors for McElrath Road Improvements. The project cost was estimated at $425,000 and was budgeted in the Paving Fund. Seven contractors attended the Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting on May 7th. The bid opening was held on May 28, 2026, at 11 a.m. A total of two (2) bids were received. Please see attached Bid Summary for reference.<br>Staff recommends award approval for the McElrath Road Improvements contract to Civil Pros Inc. in the amount of $597,115.50 and authorize execution of the necessary documents.
