9. Award Recommendation - Sports and Events Center Furniture Package<br>The City of Greer, in collaboration with the architectural firm McMillan Pazdan Smith, has developed a comprehensive furniture package to support operations at the Sports and Events Center located at 1529 S Hwy 14. The furniture package will be purchased through vendors participating in State Term Contracts and co-operative contracts with Sourcewell and TIPS as permitted by our Code of Ordinance. Staff requests that the furniture package price of $684,913.38 be approved by council. Funding for this project will come from the Corporation for Greer Fund.
