Motion to approve Hotel Indigo garage space MOU at Chestnut Street garage for 55 spaces.Issue: Per land development plans, Borough is required to provide 55 spaces at Chestnut Street Garage for hotel use.   2. Motion to extend waste disposal contract with McGovern Environmental for 3 years, effective January 1, 2027 through and including December 31, 2029.<br>Issue: Extension of the current hauling contract at the current rate.Committee Recommendation: 2-0 Approve
  3. Motion to approve one-year extension to the sludge hauling contract with McGovern Environmental Inc. at the current contract price starting January 1, 2027.Issue: McGovern has agreed to the current rate for the extension, so there will be no increase.Committee Recommendation: 2-0 Approve

  7. Motion to approve participation in regional fire and EMS study with a do-not-exceed threshold of $20,000. (Payment to be made in 2027.)<br>Issue: WCACOG is facilitating a study of fire and EMS throughout the Council of Government.
  8. Motion to approve request of Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce to install holiday decor in town.Committee Recommendation: 2-0 Approve
  9. <strong>The Borough of West Chester will hold a public hearing on September 16, 2026 </strong><strong>at 6:30 p.m </strong>repealing the Borough of West Chester's Stream Protection Fee Ordinance in its entirety which is codified in Chapter 94a of the Borough of West Chester Code.
  10. Discuss honorary street naming for state trooper Corporal Tim O’Connor located on Bradford Avenue from Market Street to Miner Street in front of firehouse. Tentatively called "Corporal Tim O'Connor Corner".<br>Issue: Corporal Tim O’Connor was a member of First West Chester Fire Company and a graduate of West Chester Henderson High School.Committee Recommendation: 2-0 Approve
  11. Discuss amendments to the proposed Ordinance to Prohibit Sale, Manufacture & Public Use of Kratom, Kratom-Derived Products and Concentrated 7-OH Substances. Committee Recommendation: None. Discussion.
