NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize Paul Leger for his extraordinary career of public service and for his lasting contributions to the fiscal strength, effective governance, and continued progress of Pittsburgh and extends its heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues and celebrates a legacy of service that will continue to inspire future public servants; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, September 22, 2026, to be "Paul Leger Day of Public Service and Fiscal Stewardship" in the City of Pittsburgh in recognition of his distinguished service and enduring contributions to the City and its people.
