NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend Vernard Alexander for a job well done in the community engagement arena & hereby declares September 6, 2026, to be “Vernard Alexander Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
