Petition received in the City Clerk’s Office requesting a public hearing before City Council relative to the procurement call for design of a Department of Public Works Schenley Division Facility, including buildings, garages, and storage warehouses, on Prospect Drive in Schenley Park. This facility would cause light pollution, sound pollution, create impervious surface and runoff, remove trees, disrupt trails, and remove forest land from a historical landmark and protected park in our City. The Petition is valid in accordance with the Home Rule Charter.
