NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize Darcia Ashley-Amber Reed for her extraordinary vigilance, compassion, and unwavering advocacy; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, August 4, 2026 to be “Darcia Ashley-Amber Reed Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
