Discussion and possible action regarding a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a component of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office, that would allow designated Oklahoma County Sheriff Deputies the authority to perform certain immigration functions as outlined in the MOA. The scope of activities performed by the designated Oklahoma County Sheriff Deputies will be narrowly tailored in accordance with the Sheriff’s letter that is attached to this agenda item.
