If the County determines that an employee owes money to the County as a result of the employee’s unauthorized conduct, the County may pursue recovery through any lawful means, including but not limited to holding and/or offsetting the debt owed to the County from the employee’s last paycheck.” This item is recommended by the Handbook Committee and requested by Brandi Mertens, Chair for the Handbook Committee.
