Discussion and possible action regarding an Amendment and Extension Agreement between the Oklahoma County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) and the Oklahoma County Public Defender’s Office (Contractor). The parties have mutually agreed to modify the term of their original Agreement for Services entered on April 10, 2024, including any subsequent amendments thereto. This Amendment and Extension Agreement will allow the Contractor to continue to utilize subcontractors for the provision of services outlined in the approved agreements between the BOCC and ODMHSAS and provide for the continuation of services for the fiscal year 2025-2026, subject to availability of the funds in the OK County Community Safety Investment Fund (6047) Voucher Account. The amendment includes the remaining funds from Fiscal Year 2024-2025, Two Hundred Twenty-Six Thousand One Hundred Fifty-Seven Dollars and Eighty-Four Cents ($226,157.84) and an amount not to exceed Two Million Two Hundred Thirty-Four Thousand Five Hundred Sixty-Three Dollars and Fifty Cents ($2,234,563.50) received in Fiscal Year 2025-2026. The Amendment and Extension Agreement will extend the terms of the original Agreement dated April 10, 2024, and any subsequent amendments thereto for a period of 12 months commencing on July 1, 2025, and ending on June 30, 2026.
