Discussion and possible action to authorize and grant the Facilities Management Director to forgo compliance with the Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974 due to the declaration of emergency as authorized by 61 O.S. 130 in order to contract(s) not exceed $150,000.00 for and make emergency and temporary repairs of the recently discovered damage in the Metro I parking garage along the north-south double tee (DT) joint that visibly demonstrates significant concrete damage including full-depth cracking and damage to the soffit directly below the surface that exhibits significant corrosion, concrete damage, and section loss of the DT flange that if not immediately and temporarily repaired, could result in damage or injury to the public and property with the understanding that any contract(s) for further permanent repairs will be competitively bid.
