2024-3747

Discussion and possible action regarding Resolution No. 2024-3747 to amend or not amend the zoning as provided in Title 19 O.S.,§868.16 on a tract of land from R-2 - Rural Residential District to Planned Unit Development (PUD-2024-04). The applicant proposes to change the zoning to develop a 102 lot subdivision on approximately 79.33 acres. The Oklahoma County Planning Commission has recommended denial during a public meeting on July 18, 2024. Written protests against the amendment, signed and acknowledged by the owners of twenty percent (20%) of the frontage within one thousand (1,000) feet to the right or left of the frontage proposed to be changed, were filed with the County Planning Commission. This amendment may not be passed except by the favorable vote of all members of the Board of County Commissioners. The property is located a half-mile south of Waterloo Rd. on the east side of Douglas Blvd. (County Highway District #3). Requested by Erik Brandt, Principal Planner and approved as to form and legality by Aaron Etherington, Assistant District Attorney.
