2024-0296
Discussion and possible action regarding Resolution No. 2024-0296 to amend or not to amend the zoning as provided in Title 19 O.S.,§868.16 on a tract of land from R-2 - Rural Residential District to I - Industrial District (Z-2023-08). The Oklahoma County Planning Commission has recommended denial during a public meeting on January 18, 2024. The applicant proposes to change the zoning to develop a Landscape and Contractor Material Storage Yard. Written protests against the amendment, signed and acknowledged by the owners of twenty percent (20%) of the frontage within one thousand (1,000) feet to the right or left of the frontage proposed to be changed, were filed with the County Planning Commission. This amendment may not be passed except by the favorable vote of all members of the Board of County Commissioners. The area to be rezoned encompasses approximately 3.11 acres. The property is located at the northeast corner of Hardin Dr. and SE 29th St. (County Highway District #2). Requested by Erik Brandt, Principal Planner and approved as to form and legality by Lisa Endres, Assistant District Attorney.
