- 1 "Official action can be taken only on items which appear on the agenda. The Authority may adopt, approve, ratify, deny, defer, recommend, or continue any agenda item. The Authority may also propose and enact floor amendments to any matter presented before them. When more information is needed to act on an item, the Authority may refer the matter to the City Manager or the City Attorney. The Authority may also refer items to standing committees of the Council or a board, commission, or authority for additional study. Under certain circumstances, items are deferred to a specific later date or stricken from the agenda entirely."

- 3 BUSINESS ITEMS:
- 1. Consider approving Resolution No. 2024-____, which authorizes the filing of a grant application under Section 5339 of the Federal Transit Administration to capture the appropriated funds for Federal Fiscal Year 2021 that will be used for the design and/or construction of the downtown transfer center and associated operations and maintenance facility, and authorize the Chairman and Secretary to execute the documentation.
- 2. Consider waiving for two months the advertising fee for three bus bench advertisements at unsold locations for the Lawton Metropolitan Planning Organization (LMPO) to promote public participation for the 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP).
- 3. Consider authorizing the Chairman to sign three annual certifications, one of which contains the end of year reporting numbers from the prior fiscal year (FY 23-24) that will be used to help determine the allocation amount from the state public transit revolving fund for fiscal year 2025, along with two other required annual state certifications.
- 4. Consider approving a two-year contract extension between the City Transit Trust and Hendrickson Transportation Group, LLC, for the operational management of the Lawton Area Transit System, and authorize the Chairman and Secretary to execute the same.

Consider authorizing the Chairman to sign the address change form for the Transit Trust owned petroleum storage tank at the Lawton Area Transit System’s (LATS) maintenance and operations facility, and authorize staff to submit the form to the Oklahoma Corporation Commission’s Petroleum Storage Tank Division.

- 10 The City of Lawton encourages participation from all of its citizens. The City may waive the 48 hour rule if interpreters for the deaf (signing) is not the necessary accommodation."
